- After removing excess water with a towel, lay flat to dry in a cool, shaded place. Do not hang dry, expose to sunlight, or machine dry, to prevent the velvet from flattening.
- Store flat without heavy pressure and avoid frequent hanging to prevent creases in the velvet and deformation of the lace.
